Clay can play!

Gotta love this one. Red Sox rookie pitcher Clay Buchholz threw the team's first no-hitter yesterday since Derek Lowe did it back in 2002 (A game which I attended. Woo!). He also became the first rookie Red Sox pitcher to ever do it. How's that for only your second major league start?

I was there...I was there last night!!! :-) What an AWESOME, AWESOME game!!!!! It was unbelievable. And, I was 6 rows behind homeplate (yes, you could see me on TV...I'll be giving out autographs - ha!!)- so I was able to see the pitches up close. Buchholz had some amazing pitches. I'll definitely be posting some photos on the blog within a couple of days. I'm still on a high from being at the game - which I'm sure you can relate from seeing Derek Lowe do it, too!
