Are you ready for some wiffle ball?

Ah, the eve of yet another television-advertising, steroid-induced, baseball season. Will Dice-K's gyros be delicious? Will Barry Bonds surpass Hank Aaron's home-run records, albeit illegally? Will A-Rod and Derek Jeter kiss and make up before the Bronks Bombers self-implode? Will Jeremy Remy finally run for office? Only time and several million hot dogs will tell.

I'm not looking forward to the possibility that Mr. Bonds will be in Fenway Park for a weekend series with the Sox and there being a chance that he'll be close to the home run record. I don't think anyone is rooting for the guy to reach the milestone because of all the suspected drug use. This baseball fan is certainly not.

Here's hoping for a 2007 World Series trophy for the Red Sox!
