I was driving home from Mass this noon time and was thinking of today's anniversary of John Lennon's death. Has it been 25 years already? I was only 11 years old when Lennon was killed but still remember the event. I wasn't much of a Beatle fan at the time, but later on in my late teens/early twenties came to know and appreciate their music. Oh, of course, I'd hear the Lennon and McCarntey solo tunes on the radio in the 70's, but was just a wee lad. It's definitely sad thinking of the ironic way he died all due to some nut job.
